Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To facilitate the operation of a transaction device, by voicing the guidance of the operation of the transaction device to a customer in a language specified with a language specifying code read out of a recording medium. CONSTITUTION:A customer performs successive operation by following a specified procedure, and then a transaction processor performs prescribed transactions, e.g. depositing, cash withdrawal, etc., and other transactions. For this purpose, a language specifying code is recorded previously on a recording medium to specify a desired language, and said language specifying code is read by a card reader 44. A voice parameter storage device 62 stores data on a guide voice document for guiding steps of respective operations of the transaction devices in plural languages, and guide voice information in the language specified by said language specifying code is read out of the storage device 62 to voice the operation procedure to the customer through a voice output device. Similarly, a display 2 displays the operation procedure in the specified language.
