Control device for automatic speed changer for car

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent shift shuck during drive by prohibiting the shifting operation until a subsequent increase of the amount of stamping is obtained, in case the stamping amount of accelerator pedal is reducing at a rate exceeding the specified deceleration. CONSTITUTION:In this automatic speed changer, a micro-computer 1, into which output signals from a car speed sensor 2 and a throttle sensor 3 are fed, decides which shift position shall be set according to the speed-change pattern determined previously, and this is used to make On/Off control of solenoids 4, 5 for changing the speed. At this time, the micro-computer 1 makes operation about the rate of change in the opening of throttle, i.e. the changing speed, on the basis of output signal from the throttle sensor 3. When deceleration of the opening of throttle exceeds a certain specified value, the shifting operation with the speed change gear is prohibited until the subsequent increase of the opening of throttle is obtained. Thereby shift shock given by quick release of accelerator pedal can be prevented.
