Damper for rotating shaft
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To enable a hub to serve as driving pulley with limited variation in the rotation by forming a belt setting section at a position off from a fitted section between the hub and a damper weight without any interposed elastic member. CONSTITUTION:A hub 2 is formed in a cylindrical shape with a step and a boss section 2a is mounted at the end of a crank shaft 1 in such a manner as to turn together with the shaft 1 through a key 3 while a large diameter section 2b projects toward the side thereof. A damper weight 4 is provided on the circumference of the large diameter section 2b of the hub 2 with the axial length of the large diameter 2b set longer than the fitting length of the damper weight 4. On the other hand, two belt setting sections 4a are formed on the circumference of the damper weight 4 while a belt setting section 10 is formed at a position off from the fitted section with the damper weight 4 on the circumference of the large diameter section 2b of the hub 2. This enables the hub to serve as driving pulley with limited variation in the rotation.
