Multimode copying machine capable of selecting mode

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To enable a copying mode to be changed through a simple operation, by storing plural typical modes in the controller of a copying machine. CONSTITUTION:A console panel 2 is provided with individual mode setting switches, such as switches for setting an original size, or a copying paper size, and moreover, a mode selecting switch 6, and a group of switches for setting mode numbers. When the switch 6 is depressed, the controller 8 of a copying machine prepares for mode change, and reads the signal of a switch selected from the group 7. A corresponding mode among plural typical modes stored in the controller 8 is selected, and the machine carries out copying operation in accordance with this mode, thus permitting mode change to be executed by a simple operation.
