Data transmission system

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To make the transmission control uniform and to simplify the control, by providing a data storage section for both a transmission processor and each terminal device respectively, and serially ternsmitting controlled data and collected data through bit-serial way. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of terminal devices 6 are connected in series with a transmission controller 2 connected to a central processing unit 1. The terminal devices 6 are provided with the 1st data storage section storing the control data from the unit 1 and the colledcted data from a device, etc. 4 connected to the terminal devices 6. The transmission controller 2 is provided with the 2nd data storage section storing all the contents of the 1st data storage section. The transmission and reception of data between the device 2 and the terminal devices 6 are performed within a transmission time zone splitting the unit time into the transmission time zone and a request processing time zone. In this transmission time zone, each controlled data in the 2nd data storage section is transmitted in bit-serial to the terminal devices 6 and the collected data in the 1st data storage section is transmitted to the device 2 in bit-serial.
