Magnetic recording medium and its recorder

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To attain small-sized, frame recording and composite photography, by using a magnetic drum or a cylindrical magnetic substance medium, in an electronic camera employing a magnetic recording medium in place of an optical photographic film. CONSTITUTION:A drum cartridge 12 incorporating a magnetic drum or a cylindrical magnetic medium to a case of a current 35mm. film tube size is used as a magnetic recording medium. A magnetic substance plane is formed on an external circumference of the magnetic drum, the inside is taken hollow, and in recording and reproducing signals, a magnetic head 13 is turned and moved to the axial direction of the drum with a motor imbedded in the hollow of the drum to form spiral or ring tracks sequentially on the magnetic plane of the drum. Thus, the recording capacitance can remarkably by increased and the size can be decreased, allowing to perform frame recording and composite photography.
