Fuel injection valve
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent sulfuric acid corrosion and carbon accumulation in a fuel injection valve for an internal combustion engine by providing a heater to heat a contacting face with burned gas within a range of 300-700 deg.C inside the main body of the injection valve. CONSTITUTION:A connecting hole 7 is bored in an injection valve main body 1 for penetrating into a cap 6, and a code 9 of a heater 8 is inserted through this hole. When surfaces of a nozzle tip 2 and the cap 6 are heated over 300 deg.C by this heater 8, no sulfuric acid corrosion occurs by any kind of fuel oil. Since the evaporation speed is increased, fuel particles are prevented from touching on the surfaces, and carbon is difficult to stick. Even if the carbon is stuck a little, a high temperaure on surfaces burns the carbon, and reduces its accumulation. This construction permits to maintain good atomization.
