Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:The titled DNA capable of producing a remarkable amount of the aimed gene in a microbial cell without the lysis of the host cells in cultivating a recombinant DNA, prepared as a vector, and infecting the host cells in a liquid culture medium. CONSTITUTION:A novel temperate phage, prepared by varying a gene taking part in the lysis without the lysis of the host bacteria, and hybridizing the resultant variant phage with a phage having a cleaved site in the DNA part having at least the genetic information about the coat protein preparation without an endonuclease cleaved site in the DNA part taking part in the replication and integration of DNA into the host chromosome and an attachment site which is the DNA part derived from the same phage as the DNA part taking part in the production and integration of DNA in the host chromosome, e.g. lambdacIh80att sRIlambda3<0>sRIlambda2<0>sRIlambda1<0>.
