Mirror interlocked with reversing operation
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To automatically obtain a field of vision covering a rear wheel and the vicinity thereof, by tilting a mirror in connection with the shifting of a transmission to its reversing position. CONSTITUTION:When a transmission TR is put in its reversing position, a forward circuit Fo acts to drive a motor 5 by a predetermined quantity. A hold circuit Ho stores the quantity of the inclination of a mirror 2 to tilt it. When the transmission TR is returned to its central position, a reversing circuit Re acts to drive the motor 5 backward by a stored quantity. The mirror is thus tilted at the time of reversing to secure a field of vision covering a rear wheel and the vicinity thereof. After the reversing, the mirror 2 is returned to the original position.
