Al alloy for fin material of heat exchanger with superior sacrificial anode effect and drooping resistance
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain an Al alloy for the fin material of a heat exchanger with superior sacrificial anode effect and drooping resistance by adding specified amounts of Si, Zr and Zn to Al. CONSTITUTION:The composition of this Al alloy is composed of, by weight, 0.1-0.9% Si, 0.02-0.2% Zr, 0.1-2% Zn and the balance Al with inevitable impurities. The composition may contain 0.1-0.9% Mn and/or >=1 kind among 0.1-0.7% Mg, 0.005-0.5% Cu and 0.005-0.3% Cr besides said components. Since this Al alloy has superior strength at high temp., drooping resistance and sacrificial anode effect, it is not deformed and worn when used as the fin material of a heat exchanger.
