Image displaying system having variable density processing function

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a smooth image and to realize an easy-to-see display, by applying a masking process to a binary coded image. CONSTITUTION:An enlarging circuit 1 enlarges a fed digital image and feeds it to a variable density processing circuit 2. The circuit 2 applies a masking process to the received image and delivers a new level value. A binary coding circuit 3 receives the new level value and binary codes it. The outputs of the circuits 3 and 2 are supplied to display parts 4 and 5 respectively to perform a binary display and a variable density display.
