Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To perform excavation smoothly along the inner wall of a tunnel by providing a rotary board to a boom supporting an excavating bucket in excavating a tunnel. CONSTITUTION:A rotator 11 is sent to a working place by a runner 9 and turned toward a desired direction, and a supporting frame 15 is positioned at a desired height. A rotary board 16 is turned by a prime mover 25 and an arm 17 and a bucket 20 are turned toward a desired direction. For example, when excavating the slantly upward portion of the wall of a tunnel T, the rotary board 16 is turned to turn the excavating direction of the arm 17 and the bucket 20 slantly upwards, the arm 17 and the bucket 20 are moved in a rocking manner by an arm cylinder 19 and a bucket cylinder 23, and an excavating blade 21 is operated along the inner surface of the tunnel T.
