Liquid crystal display device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a clear display without irregularity, by forming upper and lower electrodes so that the mismatching of liquid crystal molecules generated by an inclination of the electrode surrounding part is not included in two sides adjacent to a displaying part. CONSTITUTION:Upper and lower electrodes 1, 2 are formed so that the mismatching of liguid crystal molecules generated by an inclination of electrodes surrounding parts 1a, 2a of the trapezoid and transparent upper and lower electrodes 1, 2, the section of which is subjected to rubbing in arrows A1, A2 directions, is not included at least in two sides adjacent to a displaying part D. By this way, the mismatching at the surrounding part 2a does not affect to the inner part of the display part D and irregularity of display is not generated.
