Low pressure tire

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To improve the comfortableness for driving, the steering stability and the rotational resistance, by providing a toroidal carcass comprising a specified reinforced ply and a specified belt layer for reinforcing the crown part of the carcass. CONSTITUTION:The low pressure tire consists of the toroidal carcass 2 whose opposite ends are anchored to a pair of bead wires, the belt layer 3 positioned in the crown region outside of the carcass 2, and a tread rubber 4 outside of the belt layer 3. The carcass 2 consists of a single reinforcing ply wherein monofilaments are arranged in parallel at an angle of 75 deg.-90 deg. with the equator plane of the tire, and the belt layer 3 consists of at least a single reinforcing ply wherein monofilaments of nylon having 600-3,000 deniers are arranged at an angle of 75 deg.-90 deg. with the equator plane of the tire. Accordingly, the tire can have the excellent flexibility and damage resistance corresponding to a cordless tire.
