Alarming device against obstacle diagonally behind vehicle

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent an accident by issuing an alarm to a driver by providing a detecting means for detecting the invasion of an obstacle diagonally behind a vehicle on both sides thereof. CONSTITUTION:When other vehicle 15 invades a region D where a field can not be inspected, ultrasonic waves from an oscillator 6 are reflected by the vehicle 15, received by a receiver 7, and tuned by a tuning circuit 8. A tuned signal is amplified by an amplifier 9, and detected by a detector 10, thereby allowing transistors 11 and 12 to be driven to cause an astable oscillator 13 to oscillate. By this oscillation, a transistor 14 is turned on, and an indicator 3 provided on an outside mirror lights, so that the invasion of other vehicle into a region D where a field can not be inspected can be informed to a driver.
