Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a stable sitting posture by dividing a seat into two parts, a thigh supporting part provided with a lifting means and a buttocks supporting part provided with a fore-and-aft shifting means, and by varying the height of the thigh supporting part in correspondence to the fore-and-aft movement of the buttocks supporting part. CONSTITUTION:A seat cushion 14 is divided into a buttocks supporting part 14a and a thigh supporting portion 14b by a mid-way folding part as a border. A forward-and-backward movement means 25, which consists of slide rails etc., is provided between the buttocks supporting 14a side and vehicle proper floor 1a, while a lifting means, which consists of link pieces etc., is provided between the thigh supporting part 14b side and vehicle proper floor 1a. The buttocks supporting part 14a and the thigh supporting part 14a is connected in a freely movable and rotatable manner by means of a hinge 18. A seat back 3 is connected to the seat cushion 14 rotation free, allowing the seat to move by the specified amount, so that the reclining function can be obtained.
