Fitting and holding construction for radiator
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent a rubber member from being reduced in performance due to the aged deterioration thereof for the stable holding ability through a long term by interposing a spring between the rubber member and a bracket. CONSTITUTION:A spring body 12 such as a coiled spring is put between a radiator holding part 10 which comprises a rubber member 8 susceptible to the upper part of a radiator body 1 and a seat plate 9 of the member and is capable of moving longitudinally, and a bracket 11 which is fastened to a vehicle's body 7b with a bolt 6, both being joined with each other. Hence major oscillation is absorbed by the spring body 12 while minor is absorbed by the rubber member 8 so that any unreasonable oscillation or impact will not be applied on the rubber member 8, on account of which the aged deterioration of the rubber member 8 may be compensated by the spring body 12, in other words maintain stable resilience through a long term.
