Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of smoke, by using an acceleration compensator to introduce the atmospheric pressure into a diaphragm chamber at the time of the acceleration of an engine to avoid the excessive recycling of exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust gas recycling passage 10 is connected to the exhaust gas inlet port 11 of an exhaust passage 4 and the exhaust gas injection port 12 of an intake passage 3. When an engine 1 is sharply accelerated, a lever speed discriminator functions to supply electricity to a negative pressure changeover valve 31 to disconnect a port B from another port A and connect the port B to still another port C to introduce the atmospheric pressure into the diaphragm chamber 20 of an exhaust gas recycling control valve 13. As a result, the valve 13 is closed to stop the recycling of exhaust gas. According to this constitution, the exhaust gas is prevented from being excessively recycled due to the response lag in an exhaust gas recycling line at the time of the sharp acceleration.
