Suppressing device of detouring signal

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To eliminate detouring and to ensure a natural conversation for a long-distance conference system, by suppressing both the detouring of a low band component and the detouring of a high band component with different technique means, respectively. CONSTITUTION:The signal (x) given from a remote terminal and the signal (y) given from a microphone are divided into low and high band components through filters 31/41 and 33/43, respectively. A detouring component is deleted by an echo canceler for the low-band component; while the detouring component is suppressed by an echo suppressing device comprising attenuators 42 and 44 plus a control circuit 45 for the high band component. Then the low and high band components with the detouring components deleted or supressed are synthesized through an adder 62 to obtain a speech sending signal (e).
