Intake device of engine with supercharger
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To eliminate chattering of a relief valve, by forming a relief port part in the downstream side of a blower in an intake passage and setting a surge tank to the relief port. CONSTITUTION:A turbine 26 is rotated and driven by exhaust gas from a cylinder 3, and a blower 19 performs a supercharge of air. The air from the blower 19 is once stored in a surge tank 20 and fed to an intake manifold 13. Even if supercharge pressure from the blower 19 is caused with pulsation, the surge tank 20 can absorb the pulsation. Further the air stored in the surge tank 20 is fed to the cylinder 3, and pulsation of air pressure due to opening and closing of an intake valve 7 is not generated. Still further, chattering of a relief valve is never caused.
