Node address setting system
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To automatically set node addresses without relying on man power, by installing an area, into which a specified pattern is inserted, in the frame format of monitoring signals transmitted from a monitor station. CONSTITUTION:Specified pattern inserting areas E and R are installed in areas which are exclusively used for SV in a frame format. When a node address is assigned, an SV (a) sends an E-flag E and an address area ADD to an ND (b) by setting them to ''1'' and ''1'' respectively. The ND (b) detects the ''1'' of the E-flag E and discriminates that a node address is to be registered. Then, the ND (b) registers the ''1'' of the content of the address area ADD as the address of own station and sends the content of the ADD to the next ND (c) after ''1'' is added to the content. The ND (c) registers the 2 of the content of the ADD as the address of own station and sends the content to the next ND (c) after ''1'' is added to the content. Since the NDs existing after the SV (a) perform the same operation, the node address is set automatically, correctly, and in order.
