Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent wrong of operator, etc. and to establish labor managing functions for operators, by making the correcting operation impossible unless a key operation indicating the reason for correction is performed in the cash register provided with the register error correcting function. CONSTITUTION:In case that inputted or registered data is corrected, the operation of keys 16 indicating the reason for correction is performed, and the reason for correction is distinguished to execute the correcting operation. A memory 20 is provided which totalizes correction data in accordance with an inputted correction reason code and adds and stores correction data for every correction reason, and stored contents of the memory 20 are outputted properly to an inspection table, an adjustment table, or the lile. Consequently, the cash management, the labor management (operation management), and the sales management are verified on a basis of stored contents of a correction data storage area (c) in the correction processing.
