Truck cabin rear structure

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To enable a person to move from a cab into a cargo box and vice versa, by providing an opening in the rear panel of the cab under its rear window, closing the opening with a lid panel and hinging the lid panel at the top to the truck body so that the lid panel can be opened into the cargo box. CONSTITUTION:When an opening 12 is closed by a lid panel 10 and a lockup member 22 and a hook 24 are engaged with each other for lockup, a cab 2 is separated from a cargo box 4 as an ordinary truck. When the lockup member 22 and the hook 24 are disengaged from each other and the lid panel 10 pivotally connected at the top tothe truck body by hinges 18 is pushed upwards into the cargo box 4 and held in a horizontal posture by a strut 30, the back 42 of a seat can be inclined to ward the cargo box to extend the seat and enable a person to move from the cab 2 into the cargo box and vice verse or enable the person in the cab to reach something in the cargo box.
