Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To reliably detect a warming-up signal for an engine which actuates a water pump according to engine temperature, for controlling other controllers by forming said warming-up signal on the basis of a signal of a timer of counting lapse after engine start, which is corrected according to the engine load or other conditions. CONSTITUTION:A solenoid valve 29 which makes opening and closing control of a flux control valve 20 provided in an EGR passage 18 by carrying atmosphere into a negative pressure chamber 20 of the valve 20 is placed under opening and closing control of a control circuit 35 which consists of an output current control circuit 36 and an amplifier circuit 37. A timer 31 outputs a signal into the current control circuit 36 to start control of the solenoid valve based on a lapse of time after the engine is started. A corrective circuit 41 which receives signals from a load sensor 38, an open air temperature sensor 39 and an ammeter 40 which is equipped in a starting circuit 33 is connected to the timer 31 for making corrective control of specified counting of the timer 31 according to engine load, open air temperature and warming-up condition at the time of engine start.
