Signal emitting device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To effectively emit a signal at the time of inclining a hull or submerging the hull by mounting a signal installing unit formed with a recess placing part on the side of a ship, and containing a signal emitting unit of raised shape in the placing part so that the centroid is disposed out of the recess placing part. CONSTITUTION:A signal installing unit 18 formed with a recess placing part formed with smooth curved part 22 at the inner end is mounted on a side 17 of a ship, and a raised signal emitting unit 14 having a smooth curved surface 15 in the outer profile of the part for containing the in the placing part with the centroid disposed out of the placing part is contained. When a ship is inclined due to an accident, the unit 14 is separated from the placing part and emits a signal when the ship is inclined at more than the prescribed angle. The unit is also separated at the time of submerging the ship, thereby indicating the position of the accident.
