Olefin polymer mixture
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:A mixture that is obtained by adding an organotin and a tertiary amine to an olefin polymer containing an amine having unsaturated bonds and an organic peroxide, thus giving coating films of high adhesion regardless of kinds of coating. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100pts.wt. of an olefin polymer, preferably of 50,000 to 300,000mol.wt., (B) 0.1-50pts.wt. of an organic compound bearing at least one unsaturated bond and an amine group in the molecule, such as an unsaturated amine, an ester from an unsaturated carboxylic acid and an aminoalcohol or an amide thereof with an amine, (C) 0.01-20pts.wt. of an organic peroxide and (D) 0.005-10pts.wt., preferably 0.05-3pts.wt. of an organotin such as monobutyltin trimethyl maleate and/or a tertiary amine such as methylaminopropylamine are mixed. The resultant mixture shows increased adhesion to coatings and laminatings containing isocyanate groups.
