Apparatus for monitoring surroundings of vehicle
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily know a distance to an obstacle, by changing the intermittent number of times of a preliminarily determined transmission frequency repeated at every a definite cycle as a detecting distance becomes short. CONSTITUTION:A detecting distance relative to an alarm part 10 is imparted as signal cords ABCD and the sugnal bits of these detected data A-D are determined corresponding to the detecting distance. The output of an AND gate 21 is imparted to a buzzer drive circuit 23 which in turn sounds a piezo-electric buzzer 24 by an oscillation signal outputted from an oscillating circuit 22 in the torelant state of the AND gate 21 due to the ''H'' level output of an OR gate 20. In this case, because the intermittent number of times of the oscillation signal is changed as the detecting distance becomes short, the distance to an obstacle can be easily known from the intermittent number of times of an alarm sound.
