Information transmitting system

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain an information transmitting system where geographical information and a location of its own car are displayed on a receiver in the car, by installing a traffic information broadcasting station at major districts with respect to traffic. CONSTITUTION:Traffic information broadcasting stations 2A, 2B are provided at the major district on traffic near a road on which a car 1 runs. These broadcasting stations are constituted as television stations of a small output of an UHF band. A television receiver 4 is provided in the running car 1 and the geographical information and the like from the broadcasting station is received via an antenna 3. Further, the broadcasting stations 2A, 2B have a function which receives a signal from a device at the car side, detects the location of the car with it, and inserts the car location display information in the geographical information. Thus, the car side recognizes the location of the car itself together with the geographical information.
