Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To confirm the number of times of usage of video software tape and to prevent the number of times from being changed easily, by providing a switch switching an electric power supply, a sensor detecting the running state of a tape and a counter circuit in a cassette case. CONSTITUTION:A connector 6 outputs the number of times of usage, an output of the connector 6 is connected to a display and the number of times of usage of the tape is confirmed. A counter (IC) 7 to count the number of times of usage of the tape is placed in a triangle space, and the output is connected to the connector 6 via a ribbon lead 8. Thus, when the manager of the cassette tape connects the connector 6 to a decoder 14 via the leads externally and loads the count output by depressing a push button PB1, the number of times of usage of the cassette is displayed on a display. In depressing a push button PB2, a counter circuit 12 is reset.
