Sprinkler for combustion furnace
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To weaken combustion state, by sprinkling within a furnace upon detection of a surplus variation of the combustion state, such as superheating to be occurred within a combustion furnace of an incinerator. CONSTITUTION:A sprinkler nozzle 42 is faced on a hole 33 opened on the ceiling 1b of a combustion furnace against a surface layer of fuel. The nozzle 42 is so constituted that it is provided to be inserted freely into a combustion chamber through a pinion 35 and a rack gear 41. Simultaneously with opening of a solenoid valve 40 by a surplus state detection signal from a temperature detector, a motor 34 is started to make the sprinkler nozzle 42 protrude into the combustion chamber for sprinkling. When the combustion is weakened, the nozzle 42 is retreated out of the furnace and the solenoid valve 40 is closed.
