Fuel injecting apparatus

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To facilitate machining of a fuel injecting apparatus, by supplying fuel superfluously to a position near an injection port, causing swirl flow of fuel for promoting atomization of fuel and proper control of the quantity of injected fuel, and cooling electromagnetic windings by the superfluous fuel. CONSTITUTION:Near a fuel injection port, there is provided a control means 9 which is communicated with a fuel supply port 3a and injects superfluously supplied fuel with swirl when a needle valve 5 is opened. The control means 9 is communicated with a fuel passage 10a for cooling electromagnetic windings 2 by the superfluous fuel, and the fuel passage 10a is in turn communicated with a fuel return port 3b opened on the outside of the apparatus. Further, since the fuel injection apparatus of this invention is constructed in the form of a three- way valve in which fuel is made to flow in the opposite direction of the injection port, it is enabled to facilitate machining of a needle valve as compared with the conventional arrangements.
