Fluidized bed combustion apparatus
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To hold the height of a furnace low, by taking measures to prevent fluidized medium from splashing. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust gas passage coming up to an exhaust gas outlet 7 is formed in the upper side of an empty tower section 3 in such a manner that a bulkhead 9 is uprightly extended from the top end of an inclined plate 8 toward the ceiling of an the empty tower section 3, having an open passage between them, while a bulkhead 10 is downwardly extended from the ceiling of the empty tower section 3 to the inclined plate 8, having an opening at its lower end, together with the inclined plate 8 is provided, being slanted upwardly to the ceiling side of the empty tower section 3, with its lower end being located in the downward side opposed to the exhaust gas outlet 7 which is provided in the side above the surface 6 of a fluidized bed, and a gap 11 is provided between the side-wall of a combustion furnace and the lower end of an inclined plate 8. With such an arrangement, fluidized medium splashing on the surface of a fluidized bed does not flow out of the exhaust gas duct, but they can be returned to the fluidized bed by the function of the inclined plate.
