Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To simulate an LSI through hardware, by obtaining the OR output of the same sum term line from the AND output of the same product term line, and correcting the logical circuit of an LSI according to whether said output coincide with inspection specifications data or not. CONSTITUTION:An input register 2 supplies input data to a product term memory group 3. A control circuit 8 outputs a block number to the product term memory group 3 and a sum term memory group 5. The product term memory group 3 selects the address of a product term memory by the input data and block number and supplies the contents to the sum term memory group 5 through an AND circuit 4. A sum term memory is addressed by the output of the product term memory 3 and the block number and outputs its contents to an output register 7 through an OR circuit 6. The contents of the output register are compared with the data of inspection specifications and when they do not coincide, logical circuits of the LSI are corrected so that they coincide with each other. Thus, the simulation is performed through hardware.
