Protecting circuit for motor controller
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To effectively protect a motor controller without using a fuse by providing photocouplers for detecting normal and reverse signals, connecting the output sides of the photocouplers in series with each other and interrupting a motor power source with the output signal. CONSTITUTION:A motor 3 is connected through transistors Q1-Q4 to a DC power source, and transistors are turned ON or OFF by base drive circuits 4a- 4d, thereby normally or reversely controlling the motor 3. In this case, photocouplers are respectively provided at the final stage output transistors of the drive circuits 4a-4d, the output side transistors Q13, Q16 and Q15, Q14 are connected in series with each other, a thyristor 22 and a relay 12 are driven by the outputs to interrupt the power source, and a reset signal is outputted to an IC logic circuit. Accordingly, the simultaneous production of control signals can be effectively detected, and the operation can be accelerated by the photocouplers.
