Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the titled device which can smoothly and stably feed and reject transmitting originals, by installing the feeding section and reading section of the original in line and inclining the face on which those sections are installed against the bottom face of the device. CONSTITUTION:Originals to be transmitted 13 placed on the upper part of an inclined face 10a are fed one by one by a roller pair 11. When an original reaches a reading section located at the central part of the inclined face 10a, a fluorescent lamp 15 irradiates the original 13 through a window 18, and the reflected light from the original is introduced into a reading element 17 through a lens 16. Since the transmitting original 13 linearly passes on the inclined face 10a, the feeding, running and rejection of the transmitting original can be performed stably.
