Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To simplify the electrical connection on the surface of the display device, by fixing an LED pellet and a metal post on the surface of an insulating substrate having a through hole that is filled up with metal through metallic wiring bodies, burying the gap between them with an insulating resin, and attaching the wiring bodies to the upper surface of the pellet that is protruded from the surface and the metal post, respectively. CONSTITUTION:The through hole is provided in the sheet shaped ceramic substrate, which comprises alumina and the like and has a thickness of 0.5-2mm., and filled up with Au paste. Then the device is burned, and a through hole connecting part 11 is formed. Thereafter the first metallic wiring bodies 2 and 14 are deposited on the upper and lower surfaces of the connecting part 11 by Au plating and the like. An output terminal pin 15 is attached to the wiring body 14 at the lower surface by using silver solder. Then, the LED pellet 4 and the metal post 5 are fixed to the wiring body 2 on the upper surface by using a conductive bonding agent 3. The insulating resin 7 such as epoxy is buried in the part between them. The third wiring body 8 is attached to the upper surface of the protruded pellet, and the second wiring body 6 is attached to the top and bottom of the metal post 5.
