Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To selectively obtain a perfect reproduced picture, a normally reproduced picture, and an audio signal, by sending a signal obtained by frequency- modulating the audio signal and a video signal directly to a mixing circuit, and also sending the video signal to the mixing circuit through a kick indication signal generator. CONSTITUTION:An audio signal inputted to a terminal 1 is frequency-modulated by a frequency modulator 4 and then sent to a mixing circuit 5. A video signal inputted to a terminal 2, on the other hand, is supplied to the circuit 5 and a kick indication signal generator 6. This generator 6 generates a kick indication signal, which contains information on a kick direction, corresponding to a prescribed period in a vertical blanking period of the video signal to be recorded under the control of a control signal applied to a terminal 3. This kick indication signal is multiplexed by the circuit 5 with the video signal from the terminal 2 and the frequency-modulated audio signal of high frequency. The output of the circuit 5 is frequency-modulated and outputted from a terminal 8.
