Control unit for resonance type electromagnetic vibrator
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To aim at a reduction in power consumption, by controlling frequency of the exciting force of a resonance type electromagnetic vibrator so as to be adjusted to the characteristic frequency of the said vibrator, while also controlling the magnitude of the said exciting force so as to cause transport speed of the subject body of the said vibrator to be adjusted to the desired speed. CONSTITUTION:When load is imposed on a trough 2, amplitude of the trough 2 tries to become smaller, consequently the resonance frequency in a vibrating system inclusive of the load falls off. At this time, the value possessed by the trough 2, being obtained by multiplying amplitude by the frequency of the exciting force is detected and compared with the set transport speed by means of a comparator 14, through which an AC DC converter 5 produces a DC output in order to meet this set value at all times, so that even in a loaded state, the trough vibrates in such amplitude as capable of securing the desired transport speed. Simultaneously, phase difference between an exciting force and the amplitude is detected and compared with the set phase value by means of a comparator 10 and since the frequency in the AC output of a DC AC converter 7 is so controlled as to become this phase value, a state of resonance can be thus maintained.
