Laser recording device
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent waving of a detecting line, by detecting the timing of passage of a laser beam through the end part of an image supporting material and generating a write timing signal for picture information after a prescribed time from this detected timing to start always the information write from the end part of the image supporting material. CONSTITUTION:A lens 18 is provided on the extended line of a position where the laser beam crosses a photosensitive drum 4 near one end of the drum 4, and a photodetector 15 is arranged in a position where the beam passing through the lens 18 is condensed. A pulse generating circuit 19 is trigerred by the fall of the pulse from the photodetector 15, and the output pulse is applied to a timing circuit 16. In this constitution, when the beam from a semiconductor laser 1 crosses an edge 4a of the drum 4, the pulse signal is outputted from the circuit 19 by the fall of the photodetector 15 to control the circuit 16. A write timing signal for picture information is generated after the beam passes through the edge 4a, and the information write is always started from the end part of the drum 4 to prevent waving of the detecting line.
