Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To store a station having better reception level at the district in a memory at all times, by storing data of a broadcast station of a suitable reception level in the memory automatically and replacing the data of the memory every time the reception area is changed. CONSTITUTION:Scanning is done over the entire band in a reception band and tuning data and reception levels for several stations can be stored in a memory 6c one after another automatically. Further, a control section 5 transfers the data of a memory section 6 into a data area 6b of stations to be checked, and is replaced with the content of a data area 6a for the station under reception at present, the reception level is discriminated, and when the station having the lower reception level is stored in the memory 6c as a result, the corresponding data are rewritten and the level is written at the same time. Thus, even if the reception area is changed, the broadcast station having a suitable reception level can be stored in the memory 6c automatically.
