Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To reduce the error at readout, by providing a means to cancel the effect of leakage magnetic flux from an erasing head to a read/write head. CONSTITUTION:As a means to cancel the effect of leakage magnetic flux from an erasing head to a read/write head 1, a correction coil 9 added to the read/ write head 1 is provided. This correction coil 9 is connected to the erasing coil 4 in parallel so that the leakage magnetic flux can be cancelled and the current can be adjusted by a variable resistor 10.
