Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To prevent excessive amount of water from flowing and to supply hot water stably by a method wherein a two-valve-three-seat system is used in a hot- and-cold-water mixing chamber and beside, a throttle through hole is bored on a double side valve on the hot water side. CONSTITUTION: The double side valve 2 on the hot water side for adjusting the amount of heat water has a throttle through hole 3 and is fixed to one end of a valve shaft 1. Between a single side valve 4 on the cold water side for adjusting amount of cold water and the double side valve 2 on the hot water side there is provided a spring 5, and the valve shaft 1 can move only in the direction of the double side valve 2 on the hot water side. A cold water side seat 10 touches or detaches from the valve by the movement of the valve shaft 1 and thereby, the opening can be adjusted. owing to the two-valve three-seat system and the through hole bored on the double side valve on the hot water side, the flow amount of water exceeding the capacity of a water heater is suppressed, therefore there is no anxiety of the temperature of hot water falling down accidentally or unavailableness of the hot water of high temperature.
