Detector for synchronizing coding word
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To improve the rate of error of detection, by comparing the correlating value between each code series and a synchronizing coding word, and discriminating the input code series in which the correlating value is maximum with the synchronizing coding word to be transmitted at an aperture period. CONSTITUTION:The correlating value between each code series and a synchronizing code is calculated at a correlator 3. The output of the correlator 3 is compared at a comparison operating section 4, and the number of the correlator having maximum output is outputted. The initial set of a down counter 5 is made with the output of the section 4 to output the synchronizing coding word detecting pulse. The output of the section 4 is inputted to an adder 6, and the interval from the end of the synchronizing coding word detection to the start of the aperture section of the next frame is calculated. The down counter 7 outputs the start pulse for the start of the aperture section, starts an intial value set circuit 8 and intially sets the word length of synchronizig code to the down counter 9. Further, the down counter 9 outputs the stop pulse indicating the end of the correlation.
