Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To shorten the charging time for the production of next pulse, by providing a high-speed switch between a DC power supply and a capacitor, controlling the charging voltage of the capacitor with high accuracy, and returning the characteristics of capacitor voltage after the production of pulse current. CONSTITUTION:The output of an AC power supply 1 is rectified to conduct a switch 8 and to charge a capacitor 3. The charging of the capacitor 3 to a desired voltage is detected at a voltage detection circuit 12 to make nonconductive the switch 8. Next, a switch 4 is electrically conducted to discharge the energy of the capacitor 3 to an inductive load 5. Further, a switch 9 is conducted, and the polarity of the voltage of the capacitor 3 inverted is originally restored and pulsive current is applied to the inductive load 5 by repeating this operation sequentially.
