Image position adjuster for copying machine

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To improve working performance by copying an image drawn on an original on paper in the position deviated by a desired direction and distance from the position of said image in the state of placing the original on the reference placement position of an original plate by operating an image position adjusting plate. CONSTITUTION:An original 1 placed on the reference placement position of an original plate 2 is brought in tight contact with the plate 2 by a pressing plate 3. If it is desired to move the image drawn on the original 1 upper than the position of said image, the operator pushes a switch 171, 172 or 173 corresponding to the distance desired to be moved out of the switches 171-173, then a step motor 9 turns to move a lens 5 for a constant distance from a reference position up to the dotted line position on the right of the figure and the image formed on the surface of a photoreceptor 4 moves by a desired distance toward the left and therefore if the image is transferred from the photoreceptor 4 to the paper, the image is copied on the paper in the position deviated upward by the desired distance than the position of the image of the original 1.
