Recording paper for electrophotography
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain sharp images equivalent to those of silver salt photographs by forming the surface of a conductive substrate to be coated with a photosensitive paper to a surface having specific conductivity and smoothness, and providing the photoconductive layer dispersed with photoconductive titanium oxide in an insulation characteristic binder. CONSTITUTION:Al is vapor-deposited on cast-coated paper or a conductive layer contg. conductive ZnO is so formed as to have conductivity of <=10<8>OMEGA surface resistance and smoothness of >=1,000sec Bekk smoothness. The ZnO conductive layer is smoothed by supercalender treatment after oating. Next, a photosensitive layer dispersed with photoconductive titanium oxide in an insulation characteristic resin binder is provided on the conductive surface, whereby recording paper for electrophotography is obtained. Thereby, the images which are superior in electrostatic chargeability, potential holdability in drak places, light attenuation characteristic, and are equivalent to those of silver salt photographs are obtained.
