Hand scanning device
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To hold linearity by obtaining an invariably constant number of scannings even when a moving speed is not constant, by arranging a ruler plate, which has magnetic bodies at constant intervals with the opposite polarities, at a read position on an original and by moving a hand scan part along the ruler plate. CONSTITUTION:A fluorescent lamp 1 lights up an object (orignal) 1 to be scanned and reflected light from the original is image-formed on a photoelectric converting element 4 through an optical lens 3. Those elements are fixed in a cover 6 and a magnetic head 5 is arranged outside of and at the lower part of the cover 6 to constitute a hand scan part, so that an operator makes manual movements for sub scanning. At a scanning position on this original 1, a rular 7 with magnetic bodies 8 is arranged and the magnetic head 5 of the hand scan part is moved along the rular 7. In this case, the magnetic bodies 8 are arranged at constant intervals with the opposite polarities and even when its moving speed is not constant, invariably constant sub scanning is achieved to maintain linearity.
