Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a VTR which is small-sized, light and inexpensive, by constituting it so that a loading mechanism and each mode converting mechanism can be operated by a single driving source. CONSTITUTION:Loading is executed by a loading motor 123 being a driving source and a driving transfer mechanism part is placed in a driving force transfer path to two gears 112, 113 from this motor 123. On the upper side of a substrate 100, a cylinder 101, a cassette 102, the loading motor 123, etc. are placed, a feed reel base 124 and a take-up reel base 125 are placed on the lower side, and each of them is fitted into a reel hub provided in the cassette 102, and drives the reel. A brake lever 127 is axially supported by a shaft 126 so as to be freely rotatably, and a mode is converted by this brake lever 127.
