Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To record a signal in a wide band, by superposing a recording signal and DC bias voltage to a conductive head, and executing the recording, for a recording medium using a semiconductor. CONSTITUTION:A recording medium 1 has a structure of an MNOS capacitor consisting of a semiconductor layer 2 such as a P type silicon substrate, etc., an SiO2 film 3 having thickness of about scores of Angstrom , an Si3N4 film 4 having thickness of about hundreds of Angstrom , and a conductive film 5. A signal to be recorded is A/D-converted, amplified and processed in other way, and afterwards, it is synthesized with bias DC voltage 13 from a biasing circuit 12 by an analog adder 11, and is applied to a conductive head 6 through a recording and reproducing changeover switch 14. On the other hand, when reproducing a signal, the switch 14 is changed over to the side of a reproducing circuit 15, and an electrostatic capacity between the conductive head and the conductive film 5 is detected and is converted to an electric signal. In this way, signals ranging outer a wide band are recorded.
