Retractable head lamp apparatus

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To light a head lamp retracted in the upper side direction after the completion of retraction, by providing a light switch for controlling the turning-on/off of the lamp in response to a drive of a motor and a motor switch corresponding to the head lamp. CONSTITUTION:Retract motors M1, M2 are started when a lighting switch 22 is turned to UP to expose head lamps 15, 16 and turn on light switches 17, 18. However a head lamp relay 6 is not operated and the lamps are not lit. When next the switch 22 is in T position, a tail lamp relay 5 is operated, and when the switch 22 is in H position, contacts T and H are earthed to operate the head lamp relay 6. Then, when in OFF position of the switch 22 a dimmer switch 23 is turned from HL to HF, the head lamps 15, 16 are exposed to operate the head lamp relay 6. Thus, since the lamps are lit after the completion of the exposure, a driver in a car running in the opposite direction is not dazzled.
